Hello and welcome to Autumn! I had this lovely recipe submitted by one of our new customers last week and couldn't wait to test it and share with you, slow cooked lamb shanks in a yummy red wine sauce - it was easy to throw together and tasted delicious. Here it is:
Ingredients
4 x Macintyre Brook Lamb Shanks
1 cup of your favourite red wine (merlot is great)
etc
etc
Method
Brown the shanks and throw them into the slow cooker with all of the other ingredients, pop the cooker onto low 6-8 hours and that's it! This is delicious served with creamy mashed potato or sweet potato.
